Two of the greatest worlds known to humankind will
take the stage during the Art of Fashion 2010 show, to be held during Toronto’s Nuit Blanche festivities on
Oct. 2.
Art of Fashion is a not-for-profit organization that helps aspiring
designers (both clothing and accessories) launch their future careers by providing them with the platform
they need to expose their talents. It was created in 1998 by Michelle Planche, president of Paradigm
Events.
This year, the show makes its 12th debut and will showcase pieces from its theme, called La Belle
Époque, or “golden era.”
Ten of Canada’s up-and-coming designers will pay homage to the era’s motif of decadence, elegance and luxury
during the fashion show and competition.
