A spirit-awakening experience at Spirit Ridge Vineyard

September 6, 2011

It’s been a busy summer and technically it’s not over until later this month. But sometimes you have to remind yourself to stop and smell the rosé, which is why the luxurious Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa is the perfect getaway to enjoy the locally crafted, award-winning wines from the beautiful Okanagan Valley.

Located in Osoyoos, in southern Okanagan Valley, Spirit Ridge provides tours led by knowledgeable guides through three of British Columbia’s most well-known winery estates. These tours include the tasting and sampling of the renowned Inniskillin Okanagan Discovery Series wines and famous icewine; and savouring the acclaimed wines from Jackson Triggs Okanagan’s delicious SunRock Vineyard Series. You will also tour the First Nations-owned and operated Nk’Mip Cellars winery and learn about the Osoyoos Indian Band and their wine-making process, all the while, enjoying the stunning views of Lake Osoyoos.

When the day is done, settle into your charming country suite, or relax and rejuvenate from the day’s activities with a trip to the resort’s spa or a dip in the outdoor pool. To top off the day, enjoy an elegant dining experience at the resort’s restaurant.

As the resort’s name suggests, perhaps a stay at this destination resort is just what you need to lift your spirits.

Spirit Ridge’s current promotion offers rooms starting at $149 per night from Sept. 5 to Oct. 10, or rooms starting at $99 per room from Oct. 11 to Mar. 30 per night, when booking in pairs. The offers apply for those who book a minimum of two nights. For more information, visit spiritridge.ca
